Atmospheric Modelling Workshop

The 2023 edition of the Atmospheric Modelling Workshops (AMA) will be held from 9 to 11 May 2023, at the International Conference Centre of Météo-France, in Toulouse. These workshops will focus on the theme of Aerosols: processes, modelling and impacts. All work involving the modelling of aerosols and their impacts, as well as studies aimed at improving our knowledge of physico-chemical processes and their representation in models, are welcome. Presentations on two strong themes are particularly encouraged: urban aerosols (especially work related to the PANAME campaign), and biomass fires. In addition to the “aerosols” theme, one day will be dedicated to the evaluation and development of physical parameterizations of atmospheric models within the framework of the DEPHY (Development and Evaluation of PHYsics of Atmospheric Models) Research Group. Authors have the opportunity to present their work – preferably in French – in the form of a 15-20 minute presentation in thematic plenary sessions or as posters in a poster session. At the end of the workshops, the written materials of the papers (abstracts, presentations and posters) will be published on this website, unless the authors advise otherwise. Short abstracts must be submitted by 15 March 2023. Workshop registration is mandatory for all participants by 21 April 2023. Access to the Meteopole site is restricted for external participants.
