International Symposium Extreme weather events: A Harbinger of Future Climate?

The conference entitled “Extreme events: a Harbinger of Future Climate ?” will be held on 4 May 2021 in person (depending on the health situation) and will be broadcast via livestreaming on a dedicated platform, with the focus on interactivity between the audience and the speakers. This conference is organised by Météo et Climat with the support of the Institut Pierre Simon Laplace. At the same time, the International Weather Forum will be held from 1 to 4 May on the forecourt of the Hôtel de Ville, open to the general public. The conference will be held at the CIC Sorbonne University on May 4, with registration. This conference will bring together a multidisciplinary panel of experts from the climate and social sciences as well as decision-makers. For more information on the programme and registration:
